take off your clothes by Sebastian Paragas Review

As soon as I hit play on this song, I was immediately impressed with how catchy it began. Sebastian Paragas is a 20 year-old singer from Athens, Georgia that has just released his new single called “Take Off Your Clothes.” Paragas’ smooth and comforting voice flows throughout the whole track making a really enjoyable listening experience. The guitar throughout is really addicting with it’s crunchy like sound. The bridge is my favorite part with a buildup throughout the section into an impactful last chorus. I appreciate the length of the song running in just over 5 minutes because I just cannot get enough of it. The song’s lyrics are clever with references to clothing items such as “Like an old pair of blue jeans you’ve been wearing to town.” I like the reference to blue, which is the artist’s signature color. The lyrics deal with uncertainty in a relationship and asks the subject of the song to help the narrator “write this ending.” These lyrics do not specify what kind of ending they want. Do they want it to be a happy or a final ending? This song is really relatable with the lyrics pointing to the other person playing games and maybe leading the other person on. Sometimes it’s really hard to end a situation with someone and you need to the other person to do it for you because you know they don’t want you. I think this song really displays this complicated feeling really well.
